Hi all,
I would like to read/write using I2C to data memory. For example, to ''Design Capacity''.
I understand that I need a ClassID or subclassID to do that.
Which document should I refer to?
Best Regards,
Ryusuke

Hello Ryusuke,
I recommend referring to the BQ28Z610 Technical Reference Manual for this.

Jonny.
Hi Jonny,
Thank you for your reply.
I asked because the BQ28Z610 Technical Reference Manual (Rev. E) (ti.com) does not include Subclass ID and Offset.
I would also like to know about the bq28z610 because the TRM of other devices has the Subclass ID and Offset like shown below.
Best Regards,
Ryusuke
Hello Ryusuke,
You should only need the address for this. This is listed in Table 14-1 in the TRM. Please see the image below.
For example, the address for the design capacity mAh is 0x462A. For this gauge, you do not need the subclass ID or the offset to communicate in Advanced Comm.
Regards,
Jonny.
