TLVM23625: Settings when outputting 1V

Part Number: TLVM23625

Hi support team,
According to the original question, I understand the settings when outputting 1V as follows.

RFBT: 10kΩ
RFBB: Open

However, there is no description in SNVSCI2B that makes RFBB open.

Are there any notes?

This is the same as setting 2V output.

Please let me know the role of RFBT=10kΩ.

By the way, WEBENCH remains Short.

Dice-K

  • Hi Dice-K,

Thank you for posting.  Sorry for the confusions that the datasheet may cause you.  I studied the datasheet.  Firstly, RFBB is 10k, which is mentioned in the footnote (1) under Table 7-1.  Secondly, RFBT=10k apparently a typo.  It should be 0 in order to set to 1V.  In such case, RFBB becomes irrelevant (which is the case of the Webench model), but there is no conflict to have RFBB installed.

On the other hand, you are right that if you delete RFBB, then RFBT=10k, or another value including 0 (or short), can also set the output to 1V.  But I don't think it is what the writer of the datatsheet meant.  Basically 10k in the table's first row is a typo.  I am notifying our engineers to correct it in the next revision of the datasheet.

Again, sorry for the confusion and thank you for getting to our attention.

    Best Regards,

    Youhao

  • Hi Youhao,
    Thank you for your reply.

I'm not sure whether the best setting is to short RFBT or open RFBB.
Anyway, I would like to see the datasheet revised so that it has the best setting.

    Best regards,
    Dice-K

  • Hi Dice-K,

The best setting is to short RFBT AND open RFBB, in this way you don't need any resistors and save in BOM. It takes time to update the datasheet.

    Thanks,

    Youhao
