We are facing an SOH issue,SOH decreased a lot(84%) while all other parameters are within spec,any advice for our investigation?
During our investigaion,we found that the standby current of the product is around 40mA,compared with the settings inside BQ40Z50, it seems the product can never enter Relax mode to update OCV and Qmax from DSG mode before the battery entering storage mode when fully discharged,does this mean the battery will enter relax mode to update OCV&Qmax only at storage mode?Does this will result in SOH degradation?

Yes, the gauge should be set up that so that the gauge enters a rest state after major discharges so that Qmax can update. It is possible that this is causing SOH degradation. Can you also send the gg file from the gauge so I can check the other parameters configured on the gauge.

Hey,
I would recommend enabling fast Qmax updates. Please read over section 6.4.3 of the TRM as this describes in depth about the feature. FAST_QMAX_FLD is the parameter that should be set to 1. Run some new tests and see if Qmax is updating.
