TPS548D26: Could you advise our suitable solutions to customer?

Hi team,

 My customer's Design condition:

Vin=12V, Vout1=3.3V (45A) ,Vout2=5V(30A) , analog solution.

I find ne TPS548D26 is suitable for 5V/30A rating.

But seems not ok for 3.3V/45A application.

So I need BU's suggestion for suitable DC/DC solution.

Customer also mentioned they can accept DC/DC controller with CSD95373BQ5M.

    Hello,

    I have a few questions and comments before I can proceed to recommend a device:

    • For both designs, please be cautious of the temperature (SOA curve) of the device as using this much output current and output voltage results in high power dissipation.
    • Does customer require a converter or a module?
    • is Single Phase or Multi Phase (Stackable Converters) ok with the customer?
    • What is the frequency spec for their design?

    Now I promote

    For 5V/30A I will suggest 1pcs TPS548D26

    For 3.3V/45A, I will suggest 2pcs TPS543C20A

    ==> They preferred controller or Converter

    ==>  both ok for them

    ==>They didn't any preference

    Hi Paul,

    These devices should work.

    As for the 3.3V/45A TPS543C20A, keep in mind this is a 40A part. You can achieve the 45A by stacking this device, as this is one of the features it has.
