I am making a universal design that ideally can use LM5157 or LM5158
Assuming that the requirements do not exceed the capabilities of the LM5158, could I connect PIN 12 which is supposed NC on the LM5158 to the SW connections required by the LM5157?
Alternatively, Is there any reason that Pin 12 could not be NC on the LM5157 if used in a LM5158 application?
In the end, we would probably just buy LM5157 parts for all our applications.
