  • Hello,

Your inquiry has been received and is under review.

  • Hello,

Are you looking for a power factor corrected (PFC) pre-regulator?

If you are looking for PFC are you looking for a two stage solution to obtain the 24 V?

Have you tried TI's reference design library to see if there is a design that already fits your design requirements?

The following link will bring you to the reference design libary.

  • Hi,

I have been checking the below design.

  • Hello,

The Webench designer will generate a schematic and BOM for your design.  In regards to the UCC38050, I believe it will generate a boost stage for you based on an 85-265V AC input with roughly a 390 V output.  You would then have to step that voltage down with a DC to DC converter.

You could use a flyback converter for the step down using a UCC28C42.  If you have questions on how to design a flyback converter using this device please repost in the e2e with UCC28C42 in the title.

One last comment on your input range.  I would recommend designing with an input of 85-265 V AC.  Most designs so you don't have limitations in duty cycle should be limited 3 to 1.
