the datasheet states "WDO delay time can be set to any value between 700 μs (CCRST = 100 pF) and 3.2 seconds (CCRST = 1 μF)"
I need at least 5s for reset. Is it really not possible to use a 2.2uF cap in CCRST?
thanks

Hi Joao,
The recommended maximum reset delay capacitor value is to make sure that there is enough time for capacitor to fully discharge when a voltage fault occurs so that consecutive faults may all have the same programmed reset delay. Our TPS3436BFACADDFRQ1 device is our latest and greatest standalone window watchdog and has a capacitor adjustable reset time up to 8.91 seconds.
Thanks,
Joshua
Thanks Joshua.
I understand and thanks for the alternative part, I will take a look.
