hi expert

i saw the following data in our datasheet.

Q1: if i use 6.8KΩ to pull up to 3.3V voltage supply.(it means external pullup current is 3.3V/6.8KΩ=485uA). what the range of Vol(fault)?

Q2: could you share the internal block diagram of FAULT pin.

Hi Jay,

1) This table should be stilled followed, Vol(fault)<0.4V. But I suggest you use a bigger pull-up resistor to generate a lower pullup current < 500uA.

2) Please refer to the below structure, from my side, they are similar.

currently, the pull-up resistor is 6.8KΩ(485uA pullup current<500uA). do you mean it is better to use larger resistor,more than 6.8kΩ？ maybe 10KΩ？

Yes, you are correct, I'd like to recommend 20kohm.

How many devices would you use in this system? and do they use the same FAULT bus to support OAFA(one-fail-all-fail) functionality?

they didn't use the same FAULT bus
