LM5177: how to use LM5177 to build up the Efuse function.

Hi Expert,

May I use LM5177 M1 & M4 mosfet as pic to do the Efuse function ?

Or you have any other better suggestion in here to build up Efuse function on LM5177 ?

Hi Stefan and Team,

Because my customer want to use LM5177 or LM5171 to build the BBU power system.

And they will hot swap to connect will datacenter power , so input will see the rush power when connect and disconnect moment.

they want to have like Efuse or hot swap function , do we have any other suggestion to avoid ? or recommend application circuit ?

Hi Eddie,

i still have no good understanding of the targeted application.

On which side the hot swap should happen? Input or output / Battery or application side.

Should this be an Efuse only or an SMPS with disconnect feature?

(Perhaps an Block Diagram would help to understand.)
