Hi team,
Our customer using TPS54140A by Split-rail, and want to control Enable with external signal.
The use condition is Vin=15, Vout=±14V
In my understanding It is needed level shifter circuit when control enable. Do you have reference circuit that use Split-rail and enable control.
Or are there recommend level shifter product in this case?
Best regards,
teritama
Hi teritama,
The EN level shifter in a split-rail design is the same as an inverting buck boost (IBB) design because the IC ground is referenced to -Vout in both cases. Please refer to Section 4.1 of the following application note for an example EN level shifter: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snvaa61/snvaa61.pdf
For reference on the split rail topology, please refer to this application note: https://www.tij.co.jp/lit/an/slva616/slva616.pdf

Hi Ridge,
Thank for reply.
About UVLO setting, in snvaa61 level shifter use resister divider(100kohm x 2).
When we want to adjust UVLO threshold, it is okay that change this divider register value?
