Hi Elena,
Have you read the "Disabling the Watchdog Timer for TI’s Family of Supervisors" document?
What happens if you leave the WDI pin disconnected (I haven't found any info regarding leaving
this pin unconnected)?
Br,
Igor
Igor,
I think that this application solves any doubts.
So if I don't use the watchdog feature it is enough to leave unconnected the WDI pin.
Thank for your support,
Elena
Hi Elena,
As I'm not familiar with the device and I haven't found anything in the datasheet
regarding leaving the WDI pin unconnected, I strongly recommend you to check
the behavior of this device when the WDI pin is floating.

Igor
Hi Elena,
Per TI application report (SLVA145) that Igor mentioned, you can definitely leave WDI pin unconnected to disable the watchdog. If you want to enable watchdog again, just simply input the transition signal (high and low) to the WDI pin.
