Hi Liam,
We do not have an IBIS-AMI model, but we do have an IBIS model for this device. You can download it off the HD3SS3220 product page on TI.com:

Thanks for your reply Shane, I'll try and find a way around this problem just using the IBIS model.
Hi Liam,
I see my reply did not resolve your question. Is there something else I can help you with?
Best,
Shane
Hi Shane,
I dont think the IBIS Model on its own will allow me to completely simulate a USB3 link. Do you know if there is a similar device that has an IBIS-AMI model I could use in place of the HDS3SS3220.
Thanks,
Liam
Hi Liam,
I looked internally for a substitute IBIS-AMI model. Unfortunately, we do not have one for our similar MUXes either (HD3SS3212, HD3SS3202).
Typically we use S-parameter models to simulate the behavior of our MUXes. Would this type of model work for your simulation?
Best,
Shane
Hi Shane,
I think this would work. If I can get an S-parameter model I will include it in the simulaiton channel.
Thanks,
Liam
Hi Liam,
The S-Parameter model is available on the HD3SS3220 product page. You can find it right below the IBIS model.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.
Best,
Shane
