I'm looking at a data sheet for the BQ79606A-Q1 (the upper left corner has an identifier of SLUSDQ4 –APRIL 2019 which may be helpful). Apologies, I believe this post is tagged under the wrong PN.

Thanks for the reference. 

Equation 9 is a common equation for relating temperature to a thermistor's resistance based on its beta value.

I will provide an answer on equations 10 to 13 tomorrow (3/22) as this is an older part and the information defining these equations is not available at this moment.

Equation 14 and 15 are a rearranged version of equation 9 solving for temperature.
