We have a non-conformity on the article  1032947A   NPF    TPS929120QPWPRQ1

 

In the analysis process that we have launched we need your support:

1- Do you have a recommended or specific protocol (method, procedure) for loading the software into the drivers?

                 If yes, can you share this method with us?

2- If for the drivers, at the tester level we were unable to carry out the re-programming, what could be the cause according to Texas instrument? knowing that :

       We use the UART RX-TX method for programming at the Lacroix test.       

        The card was returned from the final customer TOYOTA and between Lacroix and TOYOTA the date passes to an equipment manufacturer for testing and           assembly.

 3- If we send you the card for analysis: Would Texas Instrument be able to diagnose the drivers on an equipped card, and detect the fault without disassembly or other destructive testing?

    Frankly, I'm not quite understand your question and requirement. Could you have more detailed description about the issue? 

    1. &2  Do you mean reprogram EEPROM? TPS929120 has no  RAM or flash for program and/or loading software. If for EEPROM program, you may refer to 7.5.4 EEPROM Programming in datasheet. 

     TPS929120 uses FlexWire Protocol - a UART-based protocol supported by most microcontroller units (MCU). 

    3. Not sure about the trouble you are meeting. It would be preferred if you can contact TI sales team, reporting the issue and we can make judgement what is the issue or if sending card be helpful.
