UCC2800: LTSpice fatal error : Time step too small

Part Number: UCC2800

Hello,

I am having a fatal LTSpice error using the UCC2800 model. The error in the log file is the following :

Fatal Error: Analysis:  Time step too small; time = 0.00123961, timestep = 1.25e-018: trouble with u1:drive:_nmos-instance m:u1:drive:1

The simulation is working fine if I remove the UCC2800 so the problem comes from this component. What can I do ?

Thanks,

  • Hi Julie,

I'm sorry, but we don't support LTSpice issues with our models. There are some clues in the error that you may be able to adjust since you have the unencrypted model.

Of course you can always use TINA or PSpice with the models provided.

    Regards,

    Ray
