BQ25171-Q1: Heating issue

Part Number: BQ25171-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ2057T,

Hello There!

For my Li-ion battery charging application, I have just moved from BQ2057T to BQ25171-Q1. I'm using 9v input to charge a 7.4v battery by setting charge voltage to 8.4v. Below is the resistance config-
ISET -> 600E
VSET -> 3.6K
CHM_TMR -> 100K
TS -> Pull down with 10K
CE -> GND

The functionality of the IC is fine but the issue I'm facing is the heating. Max temp I noted is around 65 Degree Celsius.
I want to know is it normal to heat at mentioned temperature? As in the previous BQ2057T IC, I didn't ever notice such heat dissipation.

Regards
KA
