Hello,
I am calculating a value of 960 for the Ksns parameter based on masurements of HS switch current and the SNS pin voltage.
According to datasheet, this should be 1560.
Please advice.
Kind Regards,
Salil

Salil,
Could you elaborate on how you are loading the device? Are you using an actual load or something like an eLoad in constant current mode?
Best Regards,
Tim
Hi Tim,
A coil is used to load the HS driver.
The coil is driven with the HS driver and a MOSFET in the low side.
The HS driver is used to drive a coil with high inductance so that the ripple current is in the range of tens of mA.

Salil,
If it is an actual load then the current sense ratio should match the datasheet numbers.
Just to level set here- are you testing on the stock EVM or on a custom board? What is the RSNS resistor value and how is the voltage being measured?
It's important to note that there is an inherent inaccuracy with the current sense:
If you are testing in the several milliamp range, the goal here is that the device would be able to detect open load (ON state) (hence the +/- 80% accuracy).

Tim
Hi Tim,
Thank you for the reply.
The problem has been resolved; it was a calculation error on my side.
