TIDA-010232: Application issues

Expert 1480 points
Part Number: TIDA-010232

Hi,

According to the reference design TIDA-010232, in the scheme, the high voltage ground, low voltage low, and outer shell are all isolated,

Our current drone casing and low-voltage ground are short circuited. Is this solution feasible? Is there any risk.

  • Hi,

    thanks for reaching out.
In TIDA-010232 everything on the high voltage side is referenced to PE while the low voltage ground is isolated and we measure insulation resistance between HV+ and PE and HV- and PE.

Can you explain a bit more between which potentials you want to measure the insulation resistance?  Is it between HV+ and the outer shell and HV- and outer shell?

    Best regards,
    Andreas

  • We want to measure the insulation resistance between HV+ and the outer shell and HV- and outer shell.   Outer shell and low-voltage ground are short circuited.

  • Hi,

Understood, there should be no problem if outer shell and low voltage ground is connected.

    Best regards,

    Andreas
