Hi,

Used BQStudio version - 1.3.101

Unable to trigger New battery command after following steps -

1) Start Scan

2) Gauge Enable

3) Set security mode to Sealed

4) Set security mode to Unsealed - working till here

5) Trigger New Battery command - not working

6) Tried setting Operation Config A to EOS - not working

Hey Oishi,

Are you stating that the unseal command is not working? Can you share a screenshot of the registers screen in BQStudio?

Unsealed is working -

New battery is not working -

Operation Config A is not getting set -

Hey Oishi,

When the "NEW_BATTERY" command was sent, does SOH show as 100% after the command was sent. If so, then the command worked and that error message you see can be ignored.

For changing the Operation Config A register, make sure the gauge is unsealed when doing this. In the screenshot you sent, the gauge is sealed. If the gauge is sealed you won't be able to change data memory parameters, which is why you are receiving that error message.
