BQ51050B: efficiency

Part Number: BQ51050B

Hello.

We are working on new product using the BQ51050B for the wireless charging receiver.

We designed 4.2V Li-ion battery, and we charged 1.4A.

We confirmed that the board works well.

But, I confirmed that the RX coil temperature was too hot.(measured temperature was over 80 degrees Celsius)

I think the cause is bad efficiency.

The output voltage of AC adapter is 9V and current is 1.3A (9V x 1.3 A =  11.7W)

 RX board is charging at 1.4A with 4.2V. (4.2V x 1.4A = 5.88W)

Approximate efficiency is 50%. Is it ok?

How can we become more efficient?
