TPS7A54-Q1: Is it okay for LPDDR5X power supply?

Part Number: TPS7A54-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A84A

Dear TI experts,

My customer is looking for the LDO for power up LPDDR5X.

They looked TPS7A54-Q1. input is 5V, and output is 1.05V, 50mA. (and another SoC comsumps more current, anyway they need 4A LDO include current margin.)

And they looked another device, TPS7A84A. input is 5V, output is 0.5V/50mA. (and another SoC comsumps more current, anyway they need 3A LDO include current margin.)

Do you think that these 2 devices are suitablr for the condition that I mentioned?

And Do TPS7A54-Q1 and TPS7A84A have references for LPDDR5X power supply?

FYI, they are developing automotive application. and there are no other choices for 0.5V/3A output LDO.

Best regards,

Chase

  • Hello Chase,

Yes, the TPS7A54-Q1 should be a fine device for their application.
