BQ25750: PowerPath current limit

Hi,

We are evaluating BQ25750 for a 48V battery charging system with 15A limit and load that can be up to 2 or 3 kW.

Since the battery charging limit is under the spec of this IC, can we add higher rated mosfets in the power path and maybe multiple in parallel to support the load from the source or battery?

    You can definitely add MOSFETs in parallel. While selecting MOSFETs for power path, please make sure you check their SOA limits. High SOA MOSFETs that are robust are necessary for power path transfer in this application. We use AONS6276 in our application.
