TPS563201: TPS563201 EN pin biasing

Part Number: TPS563201
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61165, TPS563208, TPS563200

The body diode of the main switching FET in this IC is feeding the USB VBUS power on the 5V rail back into the 12V input (VIN).

To ensure that the TPS563201 isn't powering itself off VBUS, I've connected the EN control to a 10K-10K divider connected across the input 12V.

My first question is if a user connects > 18V to the circuit in error, will the 9V on the EN pin via my dividers cause a problem, this as the VIN pin will not be connected due to an overvoltage protection circuit I have added that cuts off power to VIN.

So 9-10V DC on the EN pin, and a disconnected VIN pin.

The current will be below 10/10K, 1mA, as it's supplied through a 1N4149WS.

Second question is if there is no power on VIN, and the EN is connected to gnd via a 10K resistor, with 5V on VOUT from VBUS, will the IC be disabled?

As the body diode of the main switch in the IC feeds 5V back into it's input, can this impact the EN, will the 10K to ground be sufficient to keep the IC disabled?
