TPSM365R6: CC control for LED driver

Hi team,

Customer wants to utilize it on CC control for LED driver with series LED and low-side shunt.

Does it have limitation on dimming frequency because of EN pin timing requirement.

    Hi Hayashi-san,

    Thank you for posting.  I am not sure what is your dimming frequency by controlling EN.  Please note that each time EN is toggled the IC goes through a soft-start and it is internally fixed. 

    One approach without triggering the soft-start is to put a series FET to the current sense (which is used by FB for CC), and use your dimming control signal to control the series FET to stop and enable the LED.  In such way, EN is always enabled and the circuit do not need to go through soft-start.
