LMG1210: current sense

Good day, colleagues,

My customer wants to use the LMG1210 with eGAN MOSFETs for power stage in a buck DCDC topology.

They need to do is sensing the inductor current for a current mode DCDC converter. Do you have some application or recommendation? I think that I maybe can use the DCDC output, so the high side sense resistor is at common mode voltage about 18V. I am going to aim at about 300…500kHz. So, the solution needs to be able to work in such a buck DCDC.

    Hey Daria,

    Thank you for your question regarding the LMG1210.

    As far as the LMG1210 is concerned, having this sense resistor on the output is not an issue. We do not have any application notes or anything regarding this either.
