I checked the GPCCHEM tool report and the it seems the process was completed successfully. Calibration should be the absolute first step, then you should program the ChemID and then do other data memory parameter changes. Yes, it is fine for the first discharge to go below IT:Chg Term Voltage. However, don't discharge the battery to far below the terminate voltage as this can damage the battery. Yes, Battery Status:FD is the same as Gauging Status:FD. Battery Status:FC and Gauging Status:FC are the same thing. It is possible that if a safety alert and safety status are set that it could affect the learning cycle.

I would recommend getting a log file of the learning cycle attempt so I can further debug this if you are still facing issues.

(I am assuming that the operation during learning will operate according to the battery specifications.)

I looked over the files you sent and I believe I know the root cause of your issue. In the log file, you discharged the battery down to 20V, however, stated on the datasheet of your battery, the cutoff (terminate) voltage is 18V. For purposes of completing the learning cycle you fill need to discharge all the way down to 18V. Also, change the Term Voltage in Data Memory to 18000 mV.

If the ChemID acquisition was done only discharging down to 20V then you will have to redo the ChemID acquisition process, this time discharging down to 18V.

Sorry I should have clarified, when you did the test for the GPCCHEM, did you discharge down to 20V or 18V? If you discharged down to 20V then the GPCCHEM test will have to be done again but discharging down to 18V. This will give you a more accurate ChemID.

Yes, I believe that you might have the wrong chem ID programmed. 2 things concern me when looking at the data. At the beginning of the test the temperature was some what low at 16.4 degrees Celsius . Ideally the test should be conducted between 20 - 28 degrees Celsius. So rerun the GPCCHEM test considering this and discharging all the way down to 18V.

Is it possible that my learning step or settings are wrong?

Does the variation of Cells affect the learning?

Do you have any experience with Learning with LiPo batteries?

I have already done the GPCCHEM test twice and have been Learning for several months, but it is not working.

(We have obtained different ChemicalIDs...)

Yes, the learning will be invalid since the Chemistry ID was obtained at the a minimum voltage of 19V.

Yes, the QMAX is not updating because the wrong ChemID is programmed.

I checked your gg file and log file and your test procedure and settings are correct.

I have completed learning cycles on many different gauges and battery chemistries.

Rerun the GPCCHEM discharging all the way down to 18V and at room temperature.

And I am currently doing a GPCCHEM test at a minimum voltage of 18V.

I am also reviewing the settings and the operation during Learning.

During learning, the CHG bit in Operation Status A sometime

If so, what is the setting that does not change the CHG bit?s goes to 0. Is this affected?

The CHG bit changes when discharged to the lowest voltage and when fully charged.

Also, is there any way to tell during Learning that it is failing?

Yes, complete the GPCCHEM tool and share with me the result report from the tool.

I'm not sure why the CHG bit is going to 0. A protection is not triggering and the XCHG bit also stays 0 when CHG bit is 0. However, this is not preventing your testing of the battery so I would not worry about this.
