BQ25713B: Recommended operating condition of VSYS exceeded in PTM mode ?

Thanks for your reply. I am still wondering why the adapter voltage then is given with up to 24V if you can not use all functionality of the chip with these specs?

We spec the VBUS, VSYS and VBAT separately. You may find every pin has its own abs max rating as well as recommended range.

How about adding an external resistor divider to reduce the voltage at the VSYS pin and then adjust the register settings accordingly to get the correct charging voltage in normal operation mode? Can you think of any issues this could potentially cause?

Why not use BQ25730 or BQ25731? VSYS rating is higher.
