in datasheet, there is below formula to calculate Iavg. Just want to know how we get the formula, is the 0.8 the eff ? But if it's eff, why does it need in the formula ? Thanks.

Yes, I think 0.8 means the efficiency in the formula. As you know, the duty cycle could very with the efficiency with same Vin and Vout, so the formula take the eff into consideration. You can find more details about the derivation as below.
