Part Number: BQ34210IQ1EVM-826

We are planning to use BQ34210IPWRQ1 to monitor a battery. So while designing, I'm a bit confused about designing SRP and SRN pins. While referring to the datasheet and EVK, it is seen that SRP and SRN are connected to a PACK+ AND PACK- through a sense resistor. and also a N-Channel mosfet is connected to it with a learning load. So could you help me with designing SRP and SRN pins.

Hi,

I have 2 concerns with your schematic.

1) There is no resistor on REGIN.

2) the SRN/SRP scheme is wrong; these pins are used to read the sense resistor. Please reference the EVM schematic linked below.

Other than that, I do not see any obvious errors in your schematic.

Hi,

1) I see no obvious errors in our schematic.

2) Pack+/- are where you connect your load and charger.

I am unsure where the schematic, you have sent originated from, but LEN appears to come from a host MCU driving the FET.
