LM5116: LM5116MH/nope - Enable Pin was not High

HI TI Team,

We are using LM5116MH/nope converter range 6-100v .i'm giving input voltage 30v and set output voltage range is 12v . now problem is enable pin was not go to HIGH .before R10 voltage is 30v after R10 it will drop and output only 5v it will fluctuate . kindly give the solution .

Hello Ajith

Thanks for sharing the schematic. Please try these items one by one.

1. Remove R11 to check if any leak current flowing through R11.

2. Check the EN pin behavior at no load.

3. Check R17 value. The device pulls down the EN pin during the hiccup mode protection.

4. Please make it sure the CS-CSG traces are kelvin-connected to R17. Especially, the CSG trace should be directly connected to the ground connection of R17.
