TPS92310: Power management forum

Part Number: TPS92310

I would like TI engineering assistance for a new HVAC project my company, ACTA-TechUS, is implementing. It will make substantial use of TI semiconductors in the power supply and related control systems. Our intention is to design the hardware using all US made components and parts.

The system will require an operating DC voltage of between 90 V dc and 110 Vdc that will be derived from the 110 VAC 60Hz power line. Our design goal is to build a Transformer-less power supply using a capacitive coupled design. We have done this before on a power supply delivering 36Vdc and 750 mA. With the HVAC system we will require the DC voltage at up to 15 Amps.Triacs, Thyristors

We have some of the potential circuit designs and I would like to recruit the assistance of the TI engineering group to select the appropriate TI components and help us design them into the system. The current design uses these types of components: Triacs, Thyristors, Optocoupler and standard semiconductors, diodes etc.

Please have someone from the engineering group contact me to create a plan.

  • Hi Peter,

    Nice to meet you.

I am the engineer covering TPS92310 and I am only responsible for LED driver devices. I cannot help you with the system design or component selection other than LED drivers. If you have any question regarding LED drivers, please feel free to ask me.

    Best Regards,

    Steven

  • Hello Steven,

I realize you only work with LED drivers but I would still like to interface with TI to assist me in the development of the power supply previously discussed. Please pass this information from the previous message to the appropriate engineer or engineering management group:
