TPS92691: Programming Iadj pin to enable CV/CC operation

Can we use Iadj pin to enable constant voltage (CV) operation by modulating the constant current level when the output voltage reaches a maximum value?
I would like to use TPS92691 as a CC/CV charger for 36V battery in a boost converter configuration with Vin= 22V. I was thinking in using an external feedback circuit from Vout in order to modulate or adjust the voltage of Iadj pin such that the output current is gradually decreased versus Vout when the Vout hits a predetermined level.
Is it possible?

Hello,

The main thing is the IADJ pin controls the output current so you can modulated the output current by adjusting IADJ. So you would need external circuits to monitor the output voltage and modulate the output current level to your requirements. It might be better to look at a battery charger IC to do what you want.

Thanks for your answer. Would you suggest a battery charger IC that supports both boost and buck converter configuration and can work up to 60V input and CC current of 2A?
