Hello:
The customer is using fast charging IC-BQ25970, paired with adapter port C for charging. The current issue is that when charging to the maximum current, it repeatedly drops to 0. Software analysis shows that the fast charging was exited due to triggering VBUS-ERRORHI;
May I ask how to trigger this, and what ideas and directions are there?
Hello,
Can you please confirm if the customer exited on VBUS_ERRORHI, or if the adapter put the device in VBUS_ERRORHI when the switching stopped? What were the other flags that were generated, what were the settings applied to the charger (provide full register sweep), and what was the condition of the charger (VBUS, IBUS, VOUT, IOUT) before exit? Please provide more information.
Regards,
Mike Emanuel
