Thank you for the log file.

As previously discussed in the other e2e thread, the DOD % error from the GPCCHEM tool will result in SOC error and/or jumps.

Your current appears to be pulsing throughout discharge. This document is relevant for any pulse load application - Impedance Track Gauge Configuration For Dynamic Loads (EPOS)

Can you share your .gg file if possible.

Do you have both the LFP relax bit and DoDWT bit enabled? I recommend enabling both.

What is your load select and load mode? I recommend Mode:1 Select:1

See if this helps reduce the SOC inaccuracy you are seeing.

Hi,

I changed the "load mode" and "Load selec" parameters and we saw the SOC jump again

 (from 98% to 64%).

Hi,

After looking at your log file, it appears you discharge at a fairly constant rate. I suggest changing Load Mode to 0 and load select to 6 and use the average discharge current.

But normally, they are not constant discharge. We have motor consumption of 2A every so often.

Hi,

Understood, please test with a load that is expected for your application. We are tuning the load mode and select for an expected load.

Your load and battery chemistry are difficult for a top of stack gauge to gauge, with that being said in the most recent log file BAT_EXPORT the SOC looks reasonably accurate. What type of accuracy are you expecting? What portion of the graph is concerning?

Hi,

In this last example the operation is correct. I want to avoid SOC jumps like the ones in the image. I don't want a SOC jump after doing an "FC" and it relax.

I can't set this setting, because my discharge is not constant. With our mode of operation, the "LOAD SELECT" has to be "0", because we prefer to work with the average discharge current of the previous cycle.

Hi,

After reviewing your data, I suggest using the rb low tool to adjust the resistance tables in the gauge for low temperature applications.

I also recommend enabling smoothing if not already enabled.

Hi,

Why do I have to use this tool? The jumps are at room temperature.

Now, our settings are this:

- Relax_jump_ok (1)

-Relax_smooth_ok (1)

-Smooth (1)

Should it be different?

Hi,

The last log file sent on 4/12 shows the battery cell temperature decreasing into the negative deg. C range. If you are saying this is inaccurate you may need to calibrate your thermistor. Temperature is an important aspect of the impedance Track gauging algorithm.

Please proceed with these settings.

I don't understand how I can have SOC jumps at rest after charging to 100%. I want to avoid SOC jumps
