This isn't specified or tested, but the current through the QOD pin would be 1.8V / 230Ohm = ~8mA. I think that should be fine for steady state. Anything larger I would be very careful on - why does the customer want to force current through the QOD resistor?

Customer uses like this system for unique evaluation.
Specifically,
1.8V +/- 10%, 9mA(max), 20min flow
Is this condition safe?
