LMG5200EVM-02: SMT Components on bottom side of PCB

Hi TI-experts again,

the EVB has capacitors on the bottom side.

For my PCB I want to prevent components on the bottom to make fabrication easier.
So how shall I substitute/replace this Cs?

    Hi Klaus,

    The capacitors that are on the back side of the EVB here are input and output capacitors. These capacitors can moved to the front side of the board. Output capacitors and input bulk capacitors placement won't have high importance. Capacitors C13 & C14 are decoupling capacitors for the half bridge's power loop. These must be place close to the device and allow for most direct path for current to minimize loop inductance.

    Section 8.4.2 of LMG2100R044 datasheet gives example of good power loop layout.
