Dear expert,

Customer requirement is 12V in , 15V out, 2A average output current, 10A peak output current 100us duration for every 10ms, SW frequency is not decided yet.

Can LM5122 support this scenario?

Is there any consideration should they care about?

Yes, LM5122 can support this scenario.

They can also consider LM5123 for this application, as this is newer device with better availability and pricing.

Depending on how fast the load steps change, they need to pay attention to the compensation network to make sure the device reacts fast enough without strong overshoots of the output voltage, but both devices will be able to handle this.
