TPS562200: Questions about operating temperature of TPS562200DDCR

Dear TI:

一、In TPS562200DDCR  datasheet Recommended Operating Conditions，as shown in the left figure，There are two parameters for Operating temperature：TJ:-40 to 150℃ and  Recommended Operating free-air temperature is -40 to 85℃.So ,Is these two requirements need to be met at the same time？Or as shown in the right figure ,In the condition of  TJ＜125℃ and free-air temperature=100℃ ，the ic performance  can be guaranteed?

二、In TPS562200DDCR  datasheet，as shown in the bottom figure，Operating junction temperature is -40 to 125℃ ，So，what is the  free-air temperature required？As TPS562200DDCR and 

TPS562201DDCR  Maximum Operating junction temperature is same of -40 to 150℃。What's the difference between them？

    Hi,

    The only thing which deciding whether the device can work is junction temperature. But when our devices works, it produces power loss. So the junction temperature is always higher than air temperature. That's why we recommend a much lower operating free air temperature. 

    And this device will thermal shut down at 155°C Tj.
