BQ28Z620: The setting of FD/TD, FC/TC and COV delay time

Part Number: BQ28Z620

Hi expert,

Could you help to explain the difference of FD and TD, FC and TC?

From my understanding, the FD and FC act as an indicator of battery status, gauge will set flag base on FD and FC. While TD and TC is the ultimate symbol that will force gauge turn off MOSFET, right?

However,

  • In the description in TRM, only TC could turn off CFET. Can TD turn off DFET?
  • Besides, I notice that the default setting in BQZ file, the TD value is higher than FD, any consideration about this?

Finally,

Our customer set the COV delay =0s, and find that the actual delay change from 500ms to 1s, could you help to check the minimum time and max time when set delay time=0s? Thanks!
