Hi,
According to the "PFCLCSREVM034 User Guide" document, the maximum designed power is 12V/14A/168W.
The situation I'm currently encountering is:
It can start smoothly (stable) when the input is 110VAC and the load is 10.5A.It starts when the load exceeds 10.5A, and will shut down and restart after about 3 to 10 seconds.
It can start smoothly when the input is 220VAC and the load is 15A, without the above problems.
So I want to increase the maximum power to 180W, or even 200W?
1. What parts need to be changed?
2. Or is there any way to solve the problem of insufficient power at low voltage?
Best Regards
Hello,
This design uses the UCC28056 PFC and the UCC256404 LLC controllers.
If you need to increase the power you will need to redesign both power stages completely.
The UCC28056 and UCC256404 have Excel design tools that you can use to redesign the power stages and setup the controlers. You can find them at the following links.
