LM5158: Webench and XLS quickstart results

Hi all,

I was checking my design once I've implemented on PCB, with the two tools: Webench and the LM5157-58_Excel_Quickstart_Calculator_for_Boost_Converter_Design_V1_0_0

There are different results with the same component values, could you explain me why?

Which one is the correct one?

    Hi Juan,

    Thanks for using the e2e forum.

    The formula for calculating the bode plots should be the same in webench and quickstart calculator.
    Changes in results normally occur due to differences in parameters. This can also be output capacitance, sense resistance, feedback divider, etc.

    In general, I would take the quickstart calculator for main reference, as this tool uses more user inputs and therefore can achieve higher accuracy.
