UC1843A-DIE: looking for answers on the die name

Part Number: UC1843A-DIE

The chip used for UC1843MKGD1 is named SMGNAC1843PS.

The chip used for UC1843TD1/2 and UC1843-W is named SMGNC1843PS.

 

What is the difference of the chips? are they tested and released as the same ?

    Hey Joanne,

    Which orderable part number did you use when ordering the die?

    There is an A version and a non-A version of the die to order from.
    The differences are largely current draw and different tolerances as one was an update of the other one.
