TPS55340: Soft start time

Hi,

Could not see any formulae to calculate soft-start time for the Boost converter, "TPS55340QRTERQ1" datasheet.

Request to share details pertaining to the same.

    Thanks for reaching out to us via e2e.

    I have double-checked with the QuickStart Calculator and found that thre is also no equation for the SoftStart time in there.

    With the recommended capacitor of 0.047 µF, the measured effective ramp time is about 1.3ms.
    All the documentation says is that a larger capacitance increases the slow-start time while a smaller capacitance decreases it.

    If the capacitor gets charged with a constant current, as described, there should be roughly a proportional dependency.
    But no guarantee for that.
