Hi Team

We are using stacked devices BQ79600, BQ79631, BQ79656 and 6 BQ79616.

In this case can we give broadcast command for turning on the balancing on BQ79656 and BQ79616 even though intermediate BQ79631 ic is present in stack?

    Hi Ramchandra, 

    Yes, you can give the broadcast command to turn on cell balancing on the cell monitors with the BQ79631 in the middle of the stack. The BQ79631 will "ignore" the broadcast command while forwarding it towards the BQ79616/BQ79656 devices.
