UCC28C44: What should take care of if replace TL2844 without changing any external circuit?

Hi team,

My customer want to do early evaluation on thermal test by just pin 2 pin replace TL2844 by UCC28C44 since UCC28C44 has lower start up and working current than TL2844. Should we advise customer to adjust any parameter on external circuit to make it more compatible? Due to privacy policy, they could not share schematic out. Wish to have you advice soon! Thank you!

    Hi,

    If you do not provide the schematics, we cannot make sure if ok to drop in and run. You can try drop in to run and if there are problems then describe to us. If we can understand then we can provide advice. If we do not understand, we still need to see your schematics. But at moment, you can try to see how the drop-in test looks like.
