I am developing on PDA device for which i need a battery charging IC, which can charge my battery up to 4.2 volt 3400 mAh Li-Polymer battery.

I also need to check the status of my battery (battery monitoring) , battery fuel gauge management, reverse polarity protection and when batteries' charging is going on my device should also work.

I am using wall mount charge of 5V , 1Amp to charge my battery.

Please help to get perfect IC which can do all above mention functions.

My battery is single cell 3.7 volt, 3400 mAh. Which can charge up to 4.2 volt and discharge up to 3.0Volt . I also need NTC/PTC detection in the IC

Your capacity seems fairly high. What is your desired charge rate? You may want to consider a switcher charger. You can view most all of the chargers by searching on the TI web site in the parts search box for: "bq24" without the quotes. The "bq241" are the stand alone switchers.

Our devices do not protect against reverse polarity connections. Typically this is done with keyed connectors that can't be plugged in backwards. If protection is needed, then it would have to be done with external components. Most of our ICs have a TS monitoring pin.
