BQ35100: Reading Scaled R an Impedence Z as 0xff00, which does not look correct, please help with the same

We are using BQ35100 BMS module for SAFT LS33600 battery.

We are following the below steps to get into EOS mode and then test it to get Scaled R and Measured Z-

1.  Set GE pin high

2. Wait for INITCOMP bit to set high

3. Send Gauge Start command

4. Put the BQ35100 to Unsealed mode

5. Send NEW BATTERY command

6. Set Op_Config_A to EOS configuration

7. Send Gauge Start command

8. Provide a Battery voltage drop of 240 mv for 300 ms

9. Send Gauge Stop command

10. Read Scaled R and Measured Z

Problem faced - 

We are always reading 0xff00 and 0xff00 for Scaled R and Measured Z everytime across multiple batteries.

Please let us know what is needed to be added so as to get correct values for both registers.

Also, do we need to explicitly set the battery chemID ? If yes, what is the ChemID for SAFT LS33600 battery?
