Hi,

My application involves receiving wireless power through Qi compatibility and charging the battery using a similar option like the bq25121A, which has an integrated buck and LDO with I2C communication for obtaining battery status.

Could you please suggest the latest version of the bq25121A for new development and a wireless power receiver that meets the minimum Qi standards of version 1.2 or higher?

Hi Dhruvit,

The BQ25121A is the latest version, along with the BQ25120A. These are the optimal chargers if you'd like the integrated buck and LDO. The BQ25155 also includes an integrated LDO rail along with an ADC and other features, as a possible alternative.

For the wireless charger you may want to check the BQ51013B (5V 1A WPC 1.2 QFN/WCSP) or the BQ51003 (5V 500mA WPC 1.2 WCSP).

thanks for suggestion, I have take combination of BQ51013B and BQ25120A is it good inough ?
next thing is can i get design files of both the ic for seamless evaluation
also recommendations for wireless coil which can be feet in small enclosure like 25 to 30mm or smaller...

For evaluations we offer Evaluation Modules for these devices.

You can reference the BQ25120AEVM design files.

For the BQ51013B you can reference the datasheet layout section for design as well was the EVM User's Guide. I will update if I find coil design recommendations, but it is best to look at the BQ51013xEVM for reference.

Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations for a small coil. It may be best to create a new E2E thread with the BQ51013B part number for suggestions regarding coil design.
