Our customer want to use this device to below condition,
Vin：15V
Iload：max1A
Output capacitance：6000uF
Cdvdt＝0.047uF
In this condition, Tdtdv = about 700msec. So the power dissipation by inrush current is 956mW. So in this power dissipation, Tdvdt is below thermal shutdown time @Ta=25C.
And Junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 45.9 C/W. The thermal increase is about 43.9C.
So I think we can use this device in this condition. But the recommend condition is max Cout is 1000uF.
Could you please give me your opinion on the above?
