TPS61022: Recommended resistor value pull-up/pull-down for MODE-pin

Hi Team,

Could you tell me recommended resistor value of pull-up/pull-down for MODE-pin?

When logic is high it works in forced PWM, when logic is low it works in auto PFM.

Hi Atsushi,

It is ok to add pull-up/pull-down resistor between signal and MODE, but it is not recommended to use >1M ohm as this would introduce noise to MODE pin.

What method should user generally use to fix the logic(High or Low) of MODE-pin?

Please let me know if there is a recommended method than pull-up/pull-down.

Hi Atsushi,

Usually we connect MODE with GND or VIN to fix the logic low or high. You can refer to the schematic in EVM user guide.

Of course other general pull-up or pull-down ways are ok. There isn’t any special requirement except the resistance I mentioned above.
